Vinschgau (Prad is located on the map of South Tyrol 25 km north of the capital Silandro), is the part of South Tyrol with the least rainfall and is also one of the driest areas in the Alps. The number of sunny days is considerable and the climate is particularly mild. In summer it is not too hot, with temperatures of around 30/32 degrees Celsius during the day and 16 degrees at night, and not too cold in winter with a maximum of 10-12 degrees below zero.
