Our á la carte dinner Restaurant „Al bun Bacun“
Discover our Alpine-Mediterranean cuisine with beloved classics from Italian and Tyrolean traditions. Enjoy our homemade shepherd’s macaroni, a variety of dumplings (spinach, beetroot, cheese or bacon) or a crispy veal schnitzel with roasted potatoes and homemade cranberry jam. Our daily specials, fresh apple strudel, and a buffet of crisp salads offer a delicious glimpse of our cuisine.
The name “Al Bun Bacun” comes from the Rhaeto-Romance language and means “the good bite” or “good food.”
Enjoy coffee and cake in the afternoon, a refreshing drink, or meet

Camping & Residence at a glance – our FAQ
Can breakfast be added?
Yes, when booking apartments, bungalows or the chalet, breakfast can be added for €20.00 per person and must be booked by the day before at the latest. Breakfast is already included in the price for our single and double rooms. Our breakfast buffet is available daily from 8:00 to 10:00 am and can be enjoyed in the café, restaurant or on our sun terrace.
Is there a bread roll service?
Yes, freshly baked bread and pastries are available daily from 7:30 to 11:00 am in the mini-market – from crispy baguettes and the typical Vinschger Paarl to croissants in plain, apricot, chocolate, pistachio, vanilla and many other varieties.
How far is it to the nearest shopping facilities?
A mini-market is located directly at the 4-star Camping & Residence Sägemühle. The village centre, with supermarkets, a butcher offering excellent meat and sausage specialities, and other shops, is only about 200 metres away.
Are there restaurants near the accommodation?
Yes, directly at the 4-star Camping & Residence Sägemühle you will find the à la carte restaurant “Al Bun Bacun” with pizzeria. Table reservations are recommended. The restaurant is open from Monday to Saturday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm, and the pizzeria from Monday to Saturday from 5:00 to 9:30 pm. In addition, you will find further restaurants and pizzerias in the centre of Prad am Stilfserjoch, offering a wide range of culinary options.
Are there cafés and bars near the accommodation?
Yes, there is a bar with café directly at the 4-star Camping & Residence Sägemühle. You will also find more cafés and bars in the centre of Prad am Stilfserjoch.
Is barbecuing allowed at the accommodation?
Yes, barbecuing is permitted in the camping area with a gas or electric grill. For safety reasons, charcoal barbecues are not allowed. Barbecuing is not permitted in the Residence.
Can you drink the tap water?
Yes, our tap water is of drinking quality and can be consumed without any concerns.
